Use the flat side of the cabochon to glue the image.
For better adhesion, clean the cabochon with soapy water or alcohol before gluing your image.
Tips:
- We advise you to test your glue on a piece of glass or transparent plastic to ensure it is clear.
- If you choose to glue a photo printed with an inkjet printer, do a test to see if the ink doesn't smudge with the glue. The ideal in this case is to apply a layer of varnish (or diluted vinyl glue) over the image before gluing it. You can also use photos from magazines, decorative paper, dried flowers, etc.
- Cut an image larger than the cabochon; once the glue is dry, you can neatly cut around the cabochon with scissors.
- To waterproof the back of the paper pendant, use a decoupage glue.
- You can also make pretty magnets. Glue a magnet to the back of the cabochon instead of the bail.
